Mandatory Digital Customer Registry — Effective July 1st, 2025

According to the latest announcement by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), all car and motorcycle rental businesses in Greece will be required to maintain a digital customer registry via the myAADE platform.

This regulation applies to:

Car rental companies
Motorcycle rental businesses (2, 3, and 4-wheel vehicles)
Commercial vehicle rental providers
Special vehicle rental services (agricultural & motorized units)
